so now that I'm really mobile does anyone have any favorite mobile sites out there?

    Back at it

Light frivolous posting that is. I've discovered that pro blogging doesn't allow for random funness so I'll be using my xanga for that. Posting will be whenever I feel like it.

  • Oh Xanga my Xanga

Twas you oh Xanga of whom the blogging bells toll.  They tolled for thee.

It was the fall of 2003 when read my first blog (which I still read). A few days later I started my own on blogspot. After two posts and not knowing any other bloggers I quit. In 2004 I started blogging on Xanga because hey everyone else was on xanga.

Now it is the fall of 2007 and I have been in the blogging world for 4 years.

Xanga-ing has tapered off as I started focusing on hosted blogging. I kept my xanga for personal blogs but with the advent and wonderment of that which is called facebook I have sorely neglected my xanga site.

I still read xanga's but only via RSS along with the other 100 plus blogs I read every day.

Anyway, all this to say I like xanga, it was a great place to learn the art of blogging, xanga is sort of a micro chasm within the greater world of blogging, from it I learned the art of following where my traffic was coming from, the art of link love, the art of commenting on other blogs within a mini network (i.e. blogring) and I learned how to get on the coveted "featured" page.

So thanks xanga for being cool, and for continuing to be cool and letting me post comments which link to my other sites, thereby allowing xanga and the rest of the world to interact.

See ya'll round the blogosphere (oh and if you are on facebook send a friend request)

  • Life is Good

Or at least that is what my T-shirt tells me and I am inclined to agree.

Here is a quick rundown of the past few weeks...

Drove down to Virginia for Chris and Katie Drummonds wedding, the following morning we left for the Poconos where Anna and I worked at a Joni and Friends family retreat (the same one I was at last year) to read my dad's report, as I haven't written one yet, click here

After Family Camp I took Anna on a New England Ethan history tour.

    Marginal Way

We hiked the Marginal way, saw my old house in Massachutsets, visited my mom's old stomping grounds in Wells Maine, then went to New Hampshire, Vermont, New York then home.
